Poll: More Likely To Saved by Starz: ‘FlashForward,’ ‘Legend of the Seeker,’ or Neither?

The rumors persist that both Legend of the Seeker and FlashForward will wind up on Starz. Given my track record with Damages and DirecTV, I won’t dismiss these notions completely. But that means I’m still about 99% dismissive. Sure, where there’s smoke, there’s usually fire, but in this case you’d need to be smoking what the FlashForward and Legend of the Seeker fans are to see it.
Legend of the Seeker fans see their show as being compatible with Spartacus: Blood and Sand. I suppose if they worked the phrase “By Jupiter’s cock,” into the dialogue and injected a lot of nudity there is a case to be made. It is at least a period piece and Starz has been big on those lately (“Spartacus,” “The Pillars of the Earth,” and the upcoming “Camelot.”
My vote: neither. At least DirecTV can use Damages as a marketing tagline: “Exclusive home of the Emmy Award winning Damages!” Starz can’t do that with Legend of the Seeker, and certainly can’t do that with FlashForward. “Exclusive Home of a show that premiered to millions on ABC and then lost most of them,” doesn’t have much of a marketing ring to it.
FlashForward’s hardcore fans are running wild based on comments by someone they don’t know who claims Starz told them they are aggressively seeking to acquire FlashForward. I’d say there’s 100% chance that didn’t happen like that.
The FlashForward faithful will counter that Starz likes shows that will be big draws internationally and that FlashForward fits that bill. But they’re misled by the early international ratings which, like the early US ratings data was quite good. Unfortunately, just like in the US, the international ratings sank into the abyss.

SAN DIEGO COMIC CON CONVENTION "SAVE OUR SEEKER"

COMIC CON 2010
Fan conventions offer the perfect opportunity to introduce new viewers to "Legend of the Seeker." Since the two largest cons, Comic Con International (San Diego, July) and Dragon*Con (Atlanta, September), happen within weeks from each other, our project group knew we had to act quickly to make sure we got the most out of campaigning at those cons.
Here are some of the efforts we have worked on so far:
Posters: we'll have 1000 tear away posters with this design (500 for SDCC, 500 for D*C).
Episodes Giveaway: 500 iTunes cards with "Prophecy & Destiny" distributed at the freebie table for SDCC. Volunteers will also be distributing the iTunes cards (including in costume!). Planning on doing the same for D*C if funds allow.
Art Show: We've been encouraging artists to apply to have their fanart displayed at the Comic Con Art Show.
"Legend of the Seeker" Party at Dragon*Con: we managed to secure the last consuite for a "Legend of the Seeker" sponsored party. More info.
"Legend of the Seeker" is a fantasy TV show, based on author Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" book series. Produced by Disney-ABC, the show currently airs in syndication. With little to no promotion, and an erratic airing schedule, the show has averaged 2.5 million viewers weekly, plus boasts a rapidly growing international fanbase. For more information on the show, please visit the official website.
Though no official statement has been made, as of April 26th, Ausiello reported that the show would be cancelled, since Tribune/WGN America had not purchased distribution for season 3.
The "Save Our Seeker" campaign aims to promote the show by demonstrating the unity and strength of its fanbase. After its first project, two ads on Daily Variety and The Hollywood Reporter, the SOS.com Project Group purchased over 250 DVDs of "Legend of the Seeker" Season 1 to donate to public libraries.
With the added motivation brought on by an endorsement from Terry Goodkind, the group has managed and continues to manage several projects in an effort to make a Season 3 for "Legend of the Seeker" a reality.
"THE OMEN MACHINE" A RICHARD AND KAHLAN NOVEL

Omen Machine
As of April 2nd, 2010, a video went up on Terry Goodkind's official site and YouTube channel, promoting a new Richard and Kahlan novel to be released in early 2011.[3][4] What it will be about has yet to be announced; it will continue where Confessor left off. On June 14, 2010, the title was announced on the official website's forum to be Omen Machine

LOTS episode 22
.jpg)

This was the most anticipated tv season finale for me.Best episode of this series. The theme of unconditional and everlasting love is portrayed with perfection. Richard not giving up on hope, hope of getting back with Kahlan, and Kahlan doing everything possible to get back to Richard is so romantic. In comparison to Edward Cullen in Twilight, I think that Kahlan Amnell is more loyal to her lover, Richard Cypher.
The breathtaking scenery of New Zealand is incorporated and takes me back to time. This fantasy series is absolutely stunning. Best shoulder to shoulder with Lord Of The Rings series. Craig Horner and Bridget Regan portray the characters so well that it makes me believe that they are Richard and Kahlan.
Five stars ***** A + to this show!
I wish that there will be a second season.
